In 1999 Ag-Spread commenced operations in Gippsland supplying and spreading fertiliser from  South Gippsland to the Snowy Mountains region. As this business evolved the decision to purchase the first B Double tipper was made in 2001 to support the fertiliser spreading operations.

As fertiliser, lime and grain sales grew additional B Double tipping units were purchased to have greater control over commodity movements.

A stronger focus on the transportation of dry bulk commodities has taken place and further B Double’s have been purchased to fulfill a growing list of customer’s  requirements on the eastern seaboard.

Today Ag-Spread owns and operates a large fleet of B Double tippers of which 50% are Road Train compatible. Depots have been established in Maffra and Albury for mechanical repairs and servicing, with satellite yards utilised throughout  Victoria, South Australia, NSW and Queensland.
